Educate Online, Inc. (the Company) is committed to protecting the privacy of our
customers, and we treat any information you share with discretion, care and
respect. This notice defines our Privacy Policy for information we collect from
individuals both online through our Web Site (the Site), and offline by mail or
telephone or through information cards. By submitting personal information to us
or by using our Site, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. Please
do not submit any personal information to us if you object to these terms.
Description of Services
Educate Online delivers online educational instruction via live instructors
seven days a week. The program is designed to help students learn key concepts,
fill learning gaps, and get back on track for academic success. The program is
delivered on a computer that has been provisioned with the Educate Online
Learning Environment or on a computer that has the Educate Online Learning
Environment installed on it by the customer. Delivery of live instructions is
delivered online via VoIP and text capabilities seven days a week.
What types of personal and non-personal information do we gather online and
offline?
We gather personally identifiable information when you contact Educate Online by
mail, phone or e-mail; visiting our Site; filling out requests or information
cards as part of our advertisements and promotions; or subscribing to
newsletters. We collect only personal information that you provide to us, such
as name, address, phone number, e-mail address and responses to specific
questions (e.g., reasons for visiting our Site, ages of children who require
tutoring, and credit card number and expiration date for orders and billing
where applicable). We may also record the types of product information you
request through the Site.
How do we use the personal and non-personal information that we gather?
We use personally identifiable information in order to deliver a personalized
curriculum, for billing purposes, to respond to your requests and to provide you
with information regarding our services. We also use this information to
personalize your experience while visiting our Site and to allow us to better
understand how Educate Online can serve your needs.
As with most Web sites, we may also collect technical data, including but not
limited to your IP address (a unique number that identifies your access account
on the Internet), your domain and other Web browser information. We may track

left our Site, which of our pages you accessed and how long you spent on each

What about cookies and gifs?
We receive and store certain types of information automatically using cookies
and 1-pixel gifs. Cookies are files that your Web browser places on your
computer's hard drive, and 1-pixel gifs are tags that reside on certain pages of
our Site. We use cookies and gifs to track your usage and experience with our
Site.
We do not use cookies or gifs to retrieve personal information about you from
your computer.
Do we disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties?
We do not currently share your personally identifiable information with
unaffiliated third parties. We may use this information to communicate with you
by mail, e-mail or telephone, regarding our test preparation services and any
new products or services that we develop in the future, and we may share your
information with our parent Company and its subsidiaries.
We provide personally identifiable information to third parties that we use for
our own business purposes, such as to process your order or request for
information, or to provide services for us.
Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, we may: (a) disclose
personal and aggregate information when required by a valid legal mechanism such
as a search warrant; subpoena; or court, governmental or administrative order;
or when we deem it necessary to protect the integrity of our Site or the safety
of Site users, our employees or property and (b) disclose personal information
in the context of the sale of some or all of our assets or another transfer of
our business. In such event, we may retain of copy of the transferred

Any software that is made available to download from the Company is the
copyrighted work of the Company and/or its suppliers. Use of the Software is
governed by the terms of the end user license agreement, if any, which
accompanies or is included with the Software ("EULA").
Member Account, Password and Security
If any of the services requires you to open an account, you must complete the
registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate
information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You also will
choose a password and a user name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining
the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely
responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree
to notify the Company immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any
other breach of security. The Company will not be liable for any loss that you
may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either
with or without your knowledge. You may not use anyone else's account at any
time.
What about children's privacy?
The Site is not promoted to children, and we do not knowingly collect personally
identifiable information from children under the age of 13 on this Site. We do
not sell services for purchase by children; we sell services for children to be
purchased by adults. This Site is entirely aimed at adults. If registration or
other information provided through our Site reveals that a visitor is a child,
we will not allow the child to continue to provide personal information, and any
information provided to that point will be deleted from our records. We do not
filter advertisements or other content that children may view on the public
portions of our Site. We do require adults to enter additional information, such
as a child's age, gender or reading ability, so that we can deliver a quality
experience.
How are e-mail links treated?
We use e-mail links located on the �Contact Us� page to allow you to contact us
directly with any questions or comments you may have. We read every message
received and try to reply promptly to each one. Sometimes these questions or
comments are used to improve the Web site and learning programs.

Yes. We will process your request promptly. Please be aware that you may receive
one more e-mail from us before removal of your contact information from our

California resident and an Educate Online customer, you have the right to
request information from Educate Online regarding the manner in which Educate
Online shares certain categories of your personal information with third parties

you have the right to submit a request to Educate Online at its designated
address and receive the following information within thirty (30) days of our
receipt of the request: (1) the categories of personal information disclosed to
third parties during the immediately preceding calendar year, (2) the names and
